Acaster Lloyd at a glance
Acaster Lloyd is a company that conducts research for drug companies (pharmaceuticals) to help them understand patient outcomes. Patient-reported outcomes are what patients say about their own health and how treatments make them feel, like how much pain they have or how well they can do daily activities. Our work includes interviews with people affected by a disease, developing and testing questionnaires, and collecting data in surveys.
Our team includes skilled researchers who know how important it is to listen to patients and make sure our studies are honest and trustworthy.
Public and patient involvement
(PPI)
We are always open to partner with patients and the public in the design and conduct of our research through a process known as Public and Patient Involvement (PPI).
This is not the same as participating in a study. Instead, PPI means that people with personal experience of a condition contribute in ways beyond just being participants. For example, they may advise on how to recruit others with the same illness or help ensure that study information is clear and patient-friendly. Their valuable input helps make our research more relevant to those who will benefit from it.

Individuals involved in PPI are recognized as contributors to the research and are compensated for their role. No prior research experience is needed, as we provide guidance on everything you need to know for the project.

Partnering with Solace
We've partnered with Solace, a charity that helps stop gender-based violence and supports survivors, especially women and children. Solace offers safe places, emotional support, legal advice, and housing help to those affected by domestic or sexual violence. They also raise awareness and provide education in the community.

Through our partnership, we provide free research services for Solace's campaigns and raise money through events like quizzes and fun runs, as well as collecting donations of essential and basic items. In return, Solace offers Acaster Lloyd their Corporate Training Program, which helps create a safe work culture and support our employees.
